Conference sneak preview

Beninese Presidential Advisor to feature at eLearning Africa

Goundé Désiré Adadja

Goundé Désiré Adadja is a Telecommunications and ICT Special Advisor to the President of Benin, and we are delighted that he will be a keynote speaker at eLearning Africa 2012. He has previously served as the country’s Minister for Communication and ICT (2007-2011), during which time Benin adopted its Sector Policy Statement (SPS), a visionary and strategic plan for advancing the country’s ICT infrastructure in order to make Benin “the digital district of Africa.”

Adadja has extensive experience having worked for ECOWAS and the International Telecommunications Union. Before assuming his ministerial post, he developed an impressive portfolio lending his engineering and ICT skills to public and private sector organisations in different countries including the Ivory Coast, Canada, Mauritius and the Gambia.

Watch this space for details of the other luminaries who will take to the stage to share their knowledge and experiences when Africa’s key players in the eLearning and ICT sector convene in Cotonou on May 23rd to 25th.
