Introducing the eLearning Africa 2026 Fashion Blog.

As eLearning Africa 2026 heads towards one of Africa’s capitals of style, we are launching the eLA Fashion Blog. #eLAfashion will celebrate the impressive range of outfits on show in Accra. Everyone is included: delegates, speakers, organisers and visitors alike. The blog is there to showcase the national, regional, local dress as well as the individual looks that make ELA such a special event.

The #eLAfashion team will be out and about scouting every day of the conference for fashion to feature. The blog will be published regularly throughout the conference, from Wednesday to Friday. Look for the hashtag #eLAfashion on eLA socials.

#eLAfashion curator Adam Salkeld said:

“This will be my fifth eLearning Africa conference. I have always been impressed by the myriad of styles at the event. People make such an effort to be creative in their outfits and look great. The blog is a way to recognise, appreciate and thank people for that effort.”

“The fashion team is not looking for expensive labels or generic global trends. The people that we select will be chosen for their individual style or cultural references. We want to celebrate the rich diversity of the eLA family.”

“Conference fashion is beginning to get noticed across the world. Participants, many of whom work remotely, enjoy the opportunity to dress up for occasions like eLA. It is an expression of personality that can only really be successful in a face-to-face event. The idea for a fashion blog came from British author Katherine Stannett who runs them for events in the English language education sector. There was also a fashion blog for eLA’s sister event OEB Global in Berlin last December which was a great success.”

“eLA participants in Accra will see us out in the public areas of the conference looking for the most interesting outfits. We take pictures and ask a few questions about the clothes. We love it when there is a story attached to an outfit so we always try to feature those. If your clothes tell a tale that is fantastic. Perhaps someone in your family made a piece for you, or you wore it at an important time in your life, or maybe it has a strong connection with where you come from.”

“I am really confident that the participants in Accra will set a new standard in eLA fashion. You are a chic crowd, in a stylish city, attending a smart venue. I can’t wait to see what fashion treats await.”
