The 2023 Ministerial Round Table Communiqué

The 15^th Ministerial Round Table took place in Dakar, Senegal on May 25, 2023, addressing the theme: “Education, Digital Transformation and the ‘Youth Bulge’. African Governments and, in particular, ministers and officials responsible for economic development, technology and education, are at the crossroads of history, facing some fundamental challenges. These challenges are concentrated in three main areas: the digital economy, the education system and the continent’s increasingly youthful population. How Governments and Ministers respond to these challenges will determine the speed and sustainability of Africa’s ‘transformation’.
