The BBC World Service covered this year’s eLearning Africa conference in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in several of its programmes in both English and Swahili. The following report by Tulanana Bohela was broadcast as part of the prime time programme “Network Africa” in English on Friday 27 May 2011.
“In this technological era, Africa has made deliberate steps not to be left behind in the ICT revolution. The sixth annual elearning Africa conference has been taking place in Dar es Salaam Tanzania for three days. As it was closing today, our reporter Tulanana Bohela attended and found out what advancements the continent should be looking out for and the challenges the continent has yet to overcome.”
