Accra’s Labadi Beach Hotel: Home to eLearning Africa 2026

Ghana Welcomes eLearning Africa 2026

In June 2026, eLearning Africa returns to Ghana for the first time in nearly two decades. The decision reflects the country’s growing leadership in digital education and system-wide reform across the continent.

Through initiatives such as the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcomes Project (GALOP) and the Education Strategic Plan to 2030, Ghana is working to improve learning outcomes at scale, with a focus on teacher development, accountability and equitable access. These reforms have positioned the country as an active participant in shaping Africa’s digital education agenda.

Accra, the capital, sits at the centre of this progress. As a hub for policy, enterprise and innovation, the city provides a fitting backdrop for Africa’s leading conference on digital education, training and skills development.

Labadi: Where Accra Meets the Atlantic

Located twenty minutes from Kotoka International Airport and Accra’s central business district, Labadi offers direct access to the Atlantic coastline while remaining closely connected to the city.

The district is known for its beachfront setting and open coastal landscape. Its accessibility and established hospitality infrastructure make it particularly well suited to hosting international gatherings of scale.

Labadi Beach Hotel: The Venue

Labadi Beach Hotel will serve as the official venue for eLearning Africa 2026.

Established in 1991, the five-star hotel is regarded as one of Ghana’s leading conference and hospitality institutions. Set within landscaped gardens and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the property combines a calm coastal setting with the facilities required for high-level plenaries, exhibitions and policy dialogue.

Conference Facilities Designed for Scale

The hotel offers extensive event infrastructure, including a main hall suitable for plenary sessions, flexible meeting rooms for workshops and roundtables, and exhibition areas that support industry engagement.

Outdoor terraces and garden spaces provide additional areas for informal exchange, allowing conversations to continue beyond scheduled sessions.

The venue’s layout supports both structured discussion and open networking, reflecting the collaborative spirit of eLearning Africa.

Hospitality and Setting

Ghanaian hospitality is characterised by attentiveness and warmth, and Labadi Beach Hotel reflects this tradition in a professional setting. The hotel’s dining options combine local specialities with international cuisine, accommodating a diverse international audience while offering delegates a sense of place.

From early morning meetings to evening receptions overlooking the ocean, the setting encourages dialogue in an environment that balances formality with openness.

Beyond the Venue

While the conference programme unfolds within the hotel, delegates will be well positioned to explore Accra’s cultural and business districts, as well as historic sites along the coast. The location offers both convenience and context – an opportunity to engage with a country actively shaping its education future.

We look forward to welcoming you to Accra – and to Labadi Beach Hotel – from 3–5 June 2026.
