In just two days, Accra will become the meeting point for the people shaping the future of education, skills development and digital transformation across Africa.
From 3–5 June, more than a thousand policymakers, educators, entrepreneurs, development partners and technology innovators from over 80 countries will gather for eLearning Africa 2026 under the theme Africa’s Time, Africa’s Terms: Learning for Sovereignty, Strength and Solidarity.
Against a backdrop of rapid technological change, shifting geopolitics and growing demand for skills, the conversations taking place in Accra are likely to influence decisions far beyond the conference halls. Over three days, participants will explore how Africa can strengthen its educational systems, build the skills needed for the future, harness artificial intelligence responsibly, and ensure that digital transformation serves African priorities.
The stage is set. The speakers are confirmed. The debates are ready. Hundreds of meetings have already been scheduled.
In two days’ time, Accra will welcome the people and organisations helping shape the future of learning in Africa.

WHO YOU’LL MEET IN ACCRA
eLearning Africa is unique because it brings together voices that rarely meet in the same room.
Government ministers and policymakers will join educators, university leaders, innovators, young EdTech entrepreneurs, development agencies, investors, researchers and technology providers to exchange ideas and build partnerships.
The result is a community that focuses on implementation, collaboration and impact.
CONVERSATIONS THAT MATTER
Among the questions set to shape discussions this year:
• How can Africa harness AI while protecting its sovereignty?
• What skills will be needed in economies being reshaped by automation?
• How can digital learning reach those currently left behind?
• What role should data play in education policy and planning?
• How can governments, educators and industry work together more effectively?
• What does meaningful digital transformation look like in African contexts?
WHY ACCRA?
As one of Africa’s most dynamic and forward-looking capitals, Accra provides an ideal setting for discussions about innovation, education and development.
Ghana’s growing digital ecosystem, commitment to educational transformation and long tradition of Pan-African engagement make it a fitting host for this year’s gathering.
