20 years. 13 countries. One bold idea.
When eLearning Africa was launched in 2005, the idea of a pan-African conference on education and technology raised a few eyebrows. Some nodded politely. A few believed. And that was enough.
Today, eLearning Africa is the continent’s largest platform for dialogue on digital learning, training and skills development.
Over two decades, we’ve:
🔹 Welcomed more than 22,000 participants from 100+ countries
🔹 Showcased over 4,800 speakers
🔹 Hosted 70+ ministers and 5 heads of state
🔹 Gathered in 13 African cities – and built one remarkable community
This May, we return to Tanzania for our 20ᵗʰ anniversary – not just to reflect on the past, but to help shape what’s next.
To all who have believed, contributed, and continued to take part – thank you. Let’s keep learning, building and leading together.
