eLEARNING: the chancellor of Uganda Technology Management University has called on the Government to introduce ICT in all schools. “We want to see a society where every higher institution of learning is an innovation hub” he says. The Monitor has the story.

SCHOOLS: here in the Observer, the remarkable story of Eunice Among, who started her own school from scratch with virtually no budget – and has since led it on to excellence.

TECHNOLOGY: currently on display at the Ugandan Museum: a Ugandan-made drone. It’s just the latest aeronautic feat to come out of the country which, situated in an admirable position on the equator, has long dreamed of going into space. The Observer continues the story.
